The Picky Maid is great! I have used them for two years and they consistently do a great job. Communication is easy and it is not a problem scheduling, even sometimes last minute. Our home is always spotless, they truly go above and beyond on cleaning. Highly recommend!

I've used The Picky Maid for 3 years and have always been impressed. My house is always spotless and I love knowing that they use good products. Communication is always easy and prompt and they've come through in a pinch (multiple times) when I've needed a last minute cleaning.

I had not heard of this company but after having quite a few bad experiences with other highly recommended cleaning services I hopped online and found them in the listings. I'm really into eco friendly companies so when I saw that listed on their website I decided to give them a chance.

I spoke with a lady (Mary I think?) and set up an appointment the following week on Tuesday. I was having family over on Friday so it was imperative that the house be spic and span. The cleaning crew showed up just a tad after the scheduled time but it's no problem, my house is impossible to find and in a new neighborhood so doesn't show up on any map service. I don't like to watch over anyone's shoulder so I let them do their thing and when they were finished I made sure and walked through the house with them.

To say the least, I was VERY IMPRESSED! The baseboards were clean, I had the oven cleaned as well and it was like new. Carpets looked great and house smelled fantastic. It's hard to explain but I would DEFINITELY recommend them to others. The ultimate test was when my family showed up and my mom said the house looked great! I might have left out that I didn't do the cleaning 😉

I'm not big on reviews but after pulling up their listing for a friend and seeing the review below I don't think it fairly describes the company I interacted with . I give The Picky Maid an A+

Since they came highly recommended by one of my dearest friends...I was highly disappointed that we didnt even get to try them out. They no showed the first appointment! When I called them 45 minutes into the appt time...they seemed frazzeled, said they would call me right back and then instead had the maid herself call me and tell me they wouldnt be able to make it.
We then rescheduled for 2 days later and when they arrived...they looked around and then informed me that they were only there for an inspection and that AGAIN, they would not be able to clean (even though I had clearly talked to the owner Mary and confirmed that they would actually be doing a cleaning service that day at the time scheduled as I had company coming for the weekend). Now its Thursday and I have a dirty house and no way to get it cleaned by tomorrow.
To say the least, I have decided to look elsewhere for regularly cleaning service. First impressions are EVERYTHING!
And Picky Maids let me WAY DOWN.

They do a GREAT job! I've tried many maids in Austin, and they are the best so far.
They even swept off my patios. Best job, great price.
