Strange hospital. Went there because my cat cut my lip. They did the intake, doctor gave me stitches. Nice people! I waited to be discharged. When I asked when I might be able to get my discharge papers I got huddled by 2 large male nurses who were very unhappy with my question and told me to be quiet and that I could maybe wait 2 more hours for discharge. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And then I asked again about discharge papers. They told me my doctor left and I had to do another full intake and talk to another doctor before getting any discharge. 🤦🏻‍♀️ hot mess! There was also a woman who was having some episode and was acting wild! The nurse just kept instigating her. 3 of us waiting for discharge had to leave because we did not feel safe due to the make nurse’s rude comments to her.

Reading all of these reviews.. I'm like wow!. I had such a pleasant visit. Was rushed there from work yesterday morning due to abdominal pains. Took me in, did necessary paperwork, testing & just had to wait for results. It's an ER( tons of other sick folks).
Morning staff was AWESOME!!. Thanks for making a scary situation better

I was scared and anxious of the fate of my left foot bcuz of a diabetic Ulcer and note that it is a diabetic Ulcer so that means I'm a diabetic. I was completely neglected by doctors like Dr Prasat and the rest of the admitting team. The nursing team didn't seem interested in listening to anything I had to say and was not knowledgeable in anything they were responsible for or who was responsible for anything. Everyone seemed like they couldn't b bothered by doing everything or anyone and didn't do anything on time or at all like Audrey a nurse that only administered insulin only after I asked twice. I was treated inhumane and was not checked on, not provided a bed and forced to stay in the Emergency department even tho I was admitted. No shower or proper diet provided for at least 4 meals as if the doctors were not looking at my chart or files. Now im sitting here for approximately 4 hours after saying I was ready to be discharged and them refusing to give me any prescriptions for the same medication I would've revieved if I stayed there. So this a perfect hospital if u r looking for the perfect place to die!

Very disgusting hospital no matter the unit! Disgusting nursing staff and doctors. They all have question marks on their head when you ask them a question. Nurses DO NOT update the doctors and the doctors are lazy and speed through having a conversation with you.
Health care is declining and this hospital is the definition of that.
If you are going to come to this hospital you have to advocate for yourself . Ask questions and don’t be afraid to ring the call bell. IT’S YOUR CARE !!!

Don’t come here they don’t care!!!!!! I was asked if I wanna die because my blood count was slow and I needed blood I was told I could die to be send to sit in the waiting room….. oh and security 🤣 rude and still can’t do they job front desk flirts all day with other staff and never get shit don’t or ever wanna help they walk around making it look like they working got here at 2 from wasn’t see till 5:22 and was still asked to wait now having chest pain!!!! Don’t come hereeee unless u wanna die they don’t care

Went to visit my 96 y/o grandmother. She arrived approximately 2 pm. Family was there waiting in advance. Only one person allowed to visit at a time. I got there approximately 3:30. My family told me before I went back make sure they change her, she was wet. I informed the nurse on two separate occasions approximately 30 minutes apart. Both times she told me in a few minutes with the second time asking me if I wanted to do it myself. I do not but since she was so busy sure why not. Turns out my grandmother was sitting in her own feces for over an hour. Spoke to the head nurse about duties associated with patient dignity. I get it. It’s an emergency room but to take that long to change a resident is unbelievable! The team needs to improve time management and teamwork, lead from the front!

I’ve been here 14 hours. They managed to blow past the pharmacy closing time. The so called doctor claims she’s not allowed to write prescriptions. It’s a total joke.

Brooklyn hospital has the worst ed department ever. I got here at 8:20 p.m and a nurse didn't call me to the back 9:49 p.m. a EKG was done and I sat in a chair. It is now 11:26 p.m. and I haven't seen a doctor or nurse. A patient that came after me is being seen. When I complained to the nurse, she said a doctor was coming to see me, that shifts were changing,, but she didn't ask my name. When I walked by where the doctor's were sitting at it was the same doctors I saw earlier. A medical student finally came at 11:28 p.m., but he can't order any test. I ask him am I getting a CT scan, he asked me is that what I want. The nurses on duty tonight was the worst. It took 2 nurses over 10 minutes to put an i.v. in a patient. This is the worst experience.
