Judy and her entire team was amazing! From the first phone call to the court date- they were present and in touch the entire way. We expected the adoption process to take at least 12 months- it only took about 6 months. They were there for every question and phone call- never hesitated. We are so thankful for Judy and her team. I cannot express enough, the gratitude I have for Attorney Judy Sartain and her amazing team at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor Law Firm.
I recently adopted two of my grandchildren after having custody of them since July 2019.
I originally retained the same attorney who handled the custody case to do the same for my adoption case. Big mistake! The law firm he worked for began transitioning to personal injury law and my case got put on the back burner for 2 months. I decided to let him go and just hope for the best for my grandchildren. Divorce: the legal intricacies combined with the emotionally charged atmosphere - not something one ideally wants to plow through, even in an uncontested situation. My legal advisor, Lillian Bristow, was friendly, calm, professional, patient, knowledgeable, and always there to assist. In particular, her flexibility and willingness to take calls at very short notice, really stand out as a hallmark of working with her. I'd also like to commend Brittni Delk, the key member of Ms. Bristow's team I dealt with. Brittni was always extremely personable, so very clearly on top of every aspect of Lillian's clients' needs, and she returned calls and emails in a remarkably prompt fashion.
