An excellent introduction to the world of mediation. Sequoia makes the material accessible, entertaining, and valuable. I never felt self-conscious about being one of the few in the class that did not have a law degree, in fact I could see areas where that was helpful. He is incredibly supportive and real. I learned much more than you think one could learn in a 4 day training course.

The 24-hour Basic Mediation training exceeded all expectations! The teaching skills of the instructor Sequoia were excellent and superior to any other mediation training I have experienced so far. The teaching was complemented by an excellent structure of the course with the ideal balance between theoretical input and practical training on "our case." Having an extra tech person in the team to prep breakout rooms and other virtual classroom related issues allowed for a smooth participation. I have not seen any other program reaching that level of sophistication yet.

I took Stalder Mediation's 24-Hour, Basic Mediation Training for 22 NYCRR Part 146, in a virtual format over Zoom. This training made me think very differently about both mediation and my litigation practice. It provided me with a basic framework for conducting mediations, and made me better appreciate the intricacies of this subject matter. The instructor Sequoia Stalder was passionate and had a very deep and impressive command of the material. I highly recommend this course to any attorneys who wish to fulfill the Part 146 requirements.
