I had my boat up there over the summer. The marina is clean and safe. And the people are quick to help. I didn't have any troubles at all. Even when they stored my trailer, and I requested to pick it up so I can remove my boat for the winter. They did it quickly and with expertise and they parked it right where they said they would. Good job

We stayed in a cabin for our anniversary and it was awesome. The house was perfect. So small but big enough for us. I was able to go for a nice quiet walk and see wonderful sites. The neighborhood is beautiful and shaver lake marina a short drive away. We rented this cabin for 3 days and a boat @ shaver lake marina. Had a blast. I even had time to decorate for a nice romantic dinner for 2. We rented the boat early @ 7am because the later one sold out. So if you want to rent for afternoon book early. It worked out great, the morning sounds were great. Very quiet.. Loved it. All the dishes you need are here. I also felt so safe.

Looking at last years bank records, I have several charges to my card over several days. I presume I paid half online, then the rest while there (plus deposit) then also paid for gas. Then there’s an additional $130 charge the following day? Pretty sure I got scammed.

Love always visiting the Lake and renting the boats for a day out on the Lake. Staff is friendly and the grounds are always clean. We rent a slip for the jet ski’s and personal boat. We have never had an issue or problems storing.

The memories were worth way more than the price we paid to rent this boat. $220 / 5 hours for Priceless family adventure.
I was able to enjoy a glass of wine while my son drove me around the lake.
We rented a 10 passenger pontoon boat from camp Edison marina on a Friday afternoon in June and it was an absolute perfect day. We took aboard 2 ice chests, 4 kids, & 3 adults. The day use area has alot of lakeside picnic tables and the tress kept the area cool and shaded.
Yes of course we cut the engine and anchored in the center of the Lake for a quik 15 minute dip. It was hot and the cool water felt good. Usually I don't have a problem swimming back to the boat, but HERE I did . There seemed to be a "different kind of under current" going on. For years we would launch and swim in cottonwood cove (Colorado river). The depth there is more than 100 feet , Shaver Lake depth was only 50 feet, yet I had more difficulty swimming back over to the boat? The water isn't the cleanest , but it didn't leave a "fishy " smell on us, our clothes or towels .
IMPORTANT NOTE :
USE BUG SPRAY
I didn't realize til next day when I kept scratching and scratching how many clusters of mosquito bites I had on my exposed body.
*** THIS BOAT HAD ALOT OF COMFORTABLE SPACE FOR ALL 7 OF US.

I love that this place is so quiet, so peaceful. And yet still has so much to do.
This is one place you definitely want to stop in at and take a moment to enjoy the breath taking views.
Shaver lake marina is about two miles up from lake shaver downtown and worth the extra couple of miles.
