Have used their service twice now and have always been satisfied with their customer service. The last time I used them was tonite when I was in a jam. I was left stranded at kaiser hospital by the La yellow cab company when they didn't pick me up at the scheduled time I requested a day before. After 4 hours of waiting for the cab to arrive, I called safeway as a last resort and was told that they were all out of drivers for the day. However, the dispatcher mentioned that one of their drivers might be interested in picking us up as he lived near the kaiser hospital. He arrived promptly and was professional in his demeanor and appearance and took us home. Even though we agreed on a certain price including overtime pay for him, The driver only took a portion of what was the agreed upon price because he was told to charge me only half of what I was going to pay. I thought that showed integrity on his part. He could have easily took advantage of the situation but didn't. I will not hesitate to use their service the next time my mom needs to go to her doctor's appointment.

Driver arrived 40 minutes late to pick me up for my doctor's appointment and then the car smelled like cigarette smokes like he was smoking a joint.
You're a medical transportation company you should not be exposing patients to cigarette smoke. your drivers should not be smoking in the car at all with or without passengers

Worst ever. Non empathetic not willing to accommodate . Best example:You get a taxi you get a service then you pay . These people were rude . I ended up bringing my elder mom home in my car . I truly felt neglected 😩 discriminated against besides I waited three hours for them to arrive and then left me . Lost a day at work because of this transportation service provider. Corporate office hanged up on me .I would definitely never recommend them or suggest them to anyone .Do not get their services. Their driver individual had no customer service nor awknoledged us and left us stranded at Four Seasons Valley Village.

Safeway transportation is a very well established business. We have been working with them for years now. The staff is well qualified and trained. They have wheelchair and gurney services and also a stair chair which is very helpful. They are always available for same day transport for discharges. I would really recommend this company to anyone that needs medical transportation services.

I had a sad experience today with Safeway Medical transportation (R-17) driver I was on one of the radiations clinic on Van Nuys C.A some of your transportation guy came over with a patient female they didn’t have respect for her they start yelling on the staff in front of many many patient including my father they were not polite with the staff there were not nice so rude very very bad language loud I don’t care If he was not happy for what they ask him to do but they were more patients in there they didn’t have no respect it happen at 7 pm in the place city of hope in Van Nuys C.A you guys should know the person he is enthicity Armenian young around mid 25s he was was very disrespectful and very loud and didn’t respect that there was. Many patients there he did not show any professionalism please don’t over look this these things shouldn’t happen he scared patients who are going through a hard time already, by yelling and being Rude and telling the front desk employee to shut up he had no concern for others or for what they are going thru and his surroundings. Staff of C.H (Radiation Pl.) Was very polite talking to him but he just didn’t want to listen, this individual should not be working or be near with patients at all...

Unprofessional & untrustworthy: Needed to transport a senior citizen who couldn’t walk. “Yes we can transport them” Gave them the address and they said “We are fully booked” but when pressed said “Well it’s to far”

Unprofessional, waste of time. Find other means of Transportation.
