Cool staff. Friendly and helpful. -1 star for location related issues.
The drunk regulars who go back and forth with the staff always make me nervous because it can be a few tense moments before you realize they know each other and are mostly joking around. Or maybe they’re not joking and the staff is just really good at keeping the peace for the sake of other paying customers.
Store has had some design improvements and it is a lot better lit and more organized.
If you MUST shop here, have your money ready before you enter the store, and do NOT linger— keep it cute: in and out.
I wouldn’t recommend this store for a leisurely shopping experience at all, despite the things it has going for it.

I come to my neighborhood store all the time they know what I like and keep it in stock I love this place.Its small but it caters to its customers and they're allways there with a smile and a joke closed for 3 weeks 4 remodeling.

Produce is not fresh and spoiling. I bought a bag of potatoes that was rotten all the way through. Nevertheless they do have a wide variety of goods. I refuse to purchase raw meat or produce there ever again.

This place is about as ghetto as they get. Rundown, outdated, people constantly loitering out front (most likely drug dealers), a round the clock security guard because of the threat of robbery. It's in the "hood" so what do you expect? Enter at your own risk!

This liquor is convenient for me. Not only do they sell liquor they sell other items as well. I go to this store at least twice a day! Security makes sure no one hangs out in front of the store.
