This place is trash. They tested for covid after I asked them not to. They jumped to conclusions and said he had a virus. No other test other than flu and covid. The didn’t care to ask additional questions, if he had been exposed to anything or if he had any sicknesses recently. Just practicing on patients up here. Too bad practice won’t even help these people. They suck.

I followed Anderson to sweetwater when I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter & it was amazing .! the nurses from the labor & delivery were so amazing. having that extra support during the labor & delivery process telling me "you're doing good " & "you did amazing " really just made my labor so much better & easier . I'll forever recommend this hospital & staff over Abilene , it was definitely worth it , making the drive every hospital visit & when it was time to have my daughter !

ZERO bedside manner whatsoever! My husband went in for severe stomachache, vomiting and disoriented. They drew blood and his results were ok. The doctor went in there and made my husband (who was in sever pain) get up and leave. Looked at me and said "does he always act like this when his stomach hurts." No compassion at all. It's so sad that this is what we are stuck with in this small town.

My dad went to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital after a car accident, Dr. Stuart Frazier is very nice and patient to explain to me my father’s checkup. When I had some questions regarding to the bill from Allegiance Mobile Health (a separate company that provided transportation) Kristy Pettit and Sarah Jones from business unit walked extra miles to help me. Really appreciated the great service.

My mother had went to the ER and was checked in by Alexis Medrano. A few days go by and my brother calls my mom asking if she had went to the emergency room here in Sweetwater. She said “yes how do you know?” and my brother said “because the girl who checked you in got my number from your emergency contact list and has been messaging me.” (Which Alexis told him that’s how she got his number) That being said Alexis Medrano took it upon herself to get my brothers info from my moms emergency contacts and messaged him how she has always wanted to be in a relationship with him and that they’re meant to be together. The number was blocked and she continues to message him off of a txting app. It was reported and for some reason they did not see anything wrong with the situation. I guess they allow the admission clerks to get personal information from the people they check in and text them inappropriate messages. She still works there and nothing was ever done!!

Note to all patients that supposedly in an emergency situation even though your insurance pays your bill and you pay your co-insurance you will get a separate bill from the primary care doctor. They are not contracted with insurance.

ER is awful. Took my son in for burning his hand on the stove. They dropped part of the dressing for his hand in the sink and continued to put it on his hand without swapping it for a new one. Showed no care or compassion whatsoever. They gave us no instruction on how to care for the wound or anything. No wrap for us to take home or bandages or anything. They gave us an oatmeal cream pie and told us it wasn’t bad enough to see a burn center. We were in and out so fast the stove that he touched was still hot when we got home. They only kept him there as long as they did to monitor the fentanyl they gave him. They simply didn’t care at all. The RN we had was rude and almost seemed like we were inconveniencing her. We ended up taking our son to the ER in Abilene and they were appalled he wasn’t transferred to a burn center. Hendricks in Abilene had us go to Cooks in Ft. Worth because they believed the burn was so bad that he needed to see a plastic surgeon. It’s sad that the one place you need to go to in an emergency won’t care for you especially way out here far away from any other hospital. If you can make it to Abilene, skip this ER and go to Hendrick.

I took my mother to the ER in Sweetwater Oct 22nd, Dr. Lyon(not sure if the spelling is correct) he minimized everything we told him. He knew my mother was suffering vascular issues, his own words, and just sent her home because they have no one to do those kind of tests on the weekends instead of sending her to Hendricks in Abilene Texas immediately. We waited for tests that week at RPMH. I ended up having to rush her to Hendricks on Oct. 25th due to the results. The staff at Hendricks said it’s amazing she didn’t end up losing one or both of her legs and most importantly HER LIFE due to that doctors pure ignorance. We went to RPMH even when we knew better. If you need stitches or something minor then RPMH might be a good choice but if it’s serious or life threatening AVOID THAT PLACE.

Second incident was today November 2nd. My mothers doctor called RPMH for a STAT ultrasound of her leg in fear of her having a blood clot, and after they agreed they never called or let anyone know anything. So when the doctors office called back up to RPMH to see what was going on they replied they weren’t complying with the STAT order. So back to Hendricks we are, they had her checked in and all the tests done within 30 minutes. Hendricks has been so amazing all the way around. I hope one day RPMH can be amazing as well.

To say we are disgusted with this hospital is the nicest way I can put it.
