Optimal has been one of the few bright spots in the medical care for my father. The nurses have been so caring and diligent and have definitely gotten to know and care about him. Lona is wonderful and is very thoughtful with her care of him and always tries to come up with ways to help him during a very difficult time. The psych nurses have been great and got him off of a medication that was causing his tremors to get much worse. The physical and occupational therapists had many good suggestions and tried to work with him as much as possible. There is just an overall kindness as well that is much appreciated during a terrible time and I feel like he is in very capable hands. They are all extremely accessible and communicate everything regarding his care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Optimal Home Care deserves way more than 5 stars! My mom was recently in the hospital after a series of falls. She was discharged to a skilled nursing facility that was not a good fit. Optimal was able to provide services in the comfort of our own home to get my mom back on the path to recovery.

The entire staff at Optimal Care were exceptional, from the care coordinator Jenni to the therapists and nurses that took care of both my dad and mom. Our whole family was put "at ease" knowing we could count on everyone being prompt and patient with our parents. We were most concerned about the anxiety my folks might have with strangers coming into their home but after the first meet and greet with Optimal Care staff, they actually looked forward to them coming over. The team at Optimal provided hospice care for our father/grandfather in his last four months of life. Every single person who provided support — the nurses, aid, social worker, chaplain, manager — was amazing. They were all so compassionate, kind, and thoughtful. They were very supportive and caring of our family too. They made an extremely difficult time so much better for all of us. These people are truly angels on earth.
My advice to those who have terminally ill family members: Don’t wait until the last days/weeks of your loved one’s life to get help. These folks are able to provide a lot of comfort and support that will help you immensely with the entire journey through end of life care. ❤️
