Stopped here for the toilet and a coffee visited Costa ordered a Chai and a cappuccino and 2 flapjacks to takeaway £15 the Chai was the worst I have ever had it was just like hot milk the lady on the till was picking her nails with a cocktail stick and was not engaging I would of taken it back but we were back on the motorway

Can't go over the bridge! Been out for several years now! So time it was fixed!
Now southbound has a kentucky, plus Costa and greggs, shop, toilets and gambling machines should you want one! Clean for the most part, but toilets smelled pretty bad? But usable

I loved it, the staff in WH Smith was so kind. After seeing me tired she offered the shower facilities they have and it's free.
Just drop the car keys and take the shower room keys, later return and collect the car key.

A decent stop off. Good options for food and drink. Toilets could have been a bit cleaner. Just be careful when leaving as an A road goes by it before the motorway.

Dirty. Scruffy. Avoid.

Motorway sign advertises it as having several options but realistically it is very limited because the bridge to Northbound has been closed for “urgent repairs” for over a year now.

Two stars only because the Greggs is decent.

Thoroughly depressing and run down services. Needs a proper revamp to take it out of the 1970s.
Lack of quality choices plus cold and dark.

Well is was Maria at Costa who made this visit special. We'd arrived from abroad into Newcastle and really needed a coffee etc. Maria was fantastic, friendly and very to help which is quite rare nowadays.

We are regular travellers and stop at the Wasington services. We order our coffees from costa which is by far the best coffee i have ever had. We are served by a very much lovely lady called Kerry who not only makes the best coffees, but is always happy to serve us everytime we come in. The area also which she works is kept immaculate and clean. We talk sometimes quite loud but she just gets on with her work. And occasionally chats with us to see if everythingis ok. I really dont have much more to say but without doubt world class service and best barista in uk. Thank you very much Kerry
