My dad was living in Florida when his health and mobility required more support for day to day activities. With no family close by we decided the best solution would be to move him to NC to be closer to family. While not a medical emergency this move needed to be carried out with the help of those who could care for him on the journey. I cannot say enough about the team that transported my dad on his 12 hours from Florida to NC. They reached out before pickup to make sure they had all paperwork and information to assure a smooth transition. They kept in contact throughout the day of travel and upon arrival at my dad’s new home shared all medications and updates. My dad said that while the ride was long he was comfortable and well cared for. Making decisions for elderly parent care is extremely emotional but Randy’s support made a difficult situation smooth from start to finish.

Our experience with Medical Transport Services was top notch from pick-up to arrival at the facility over 900 miles away. When they arrived for pick-up, we were under a tornado warning with hail coming down very heavily. By the time we were ready to leave, the storm had passed and we were ready to get on the road. Our two very experienced drivers, Ricardo and Pedro were constantly monitoring the weather conditions as we went through three states with tornado watches and heavy rain. At no point was my mother-in-law, nor myself concerned about our safety. Stacie, our paramedic was ever vigilant to Ma's condition and frequently monitored her temperature, O2, pulse, heart rate, and diaper, as well as adjusted her position on the stretcher.
About six hours into our journey, Ma became confused and somewhat agitated. Stacie was quick to reassure her and administer the med that had been provided by the facility which allowed her to rest comfortably through the night and into the morning when we arrived at the new facility.
Thank you, Stacie, Ricardo, and Pedro for your professionalism and making the arduous trip stress free. I hope you all were able to get some well-deserved rest!

Took my parents from Tampa, FL to Charleston, SC and made great time in a safe manner. The nurse onboard was very attentive the entire trip. Private bathroom on board as well as movies for the passenger riding along. Would highly recommend!

My husband was transported on February 24th from PA to FL - and I was able to go along for the overnight ride! Both drivers, Jeff and Ricardo, and especially the MTS nurse Anthony were extremely kind and caring and made the whole trip a welcoming and fun adventure. Anthony monitored my husband every hour throughout the night, and made sure he was comfortable. He put him at ease right away and that relieved the stress we were both having before starting the trip.
We cannot thank Medical Transport enough for getting us back home - and three hours early!

We needed to move my elderly mother-in-law from Michigan to Wisconsin, and were originally planning to handle the trip ourselves, but as we began to work out all the details and uncertainties and contingencies, we realized this was going to be way more than we wanted to tackle. In desperation I began calling several transportation companies, and when I talked to MTS I knew we would be in good hands. They were able to arrange the move for the day I requested, for less cost than I had feared, and everything was easy from then on. The operations manager communicated everything we needed to know in advance; the crew arrived on time and were friendly and efficient and patient; the nurse was calm and thorough and made sure she had all the info she needed as well as answering all my questions. My mother-in-law traveled in comfort and safety, and made the trip in great time. I'm SO grateful to everyone at MTS, and highly recommend their services!

Of all the elements that went into moving my in-laws from TN to MA, the medical transport was the only piece that went smoothly. It was perhaps the one we were most anxious about, but it all worked better than we could have hoped. The nurse who accompanied my father-in-law on his flight from TN to MA was excellent -- cheerful, confident, and no-nonsense. There was a special van provided for the 2.5 hour drive to the airport, which was important for my FIL's comfort. All told, this was a very professional service that performed just as they promised.

I am a delighted client! We moved my mom from Nebraska to Michigan. She is 92 and has Alzheimer’s. The drivers and nurse were great. Medical Transport Services planned an overnight drive and it went off without a hitch. The ride in the van was very comfortable. I was able to ride along and that made things even better. I highly recommend this company if you have an elderly relative with significant medical needs that you are relocating!

I really can't say enough good things about Medical Transport Services and our experience with them. We needed to remove my 91 year-old mother from a nursing home in Florida, where she was dying, to our home here in Kentucky. They not only provided safe, professional transport bed to bed, but did so in a very caring, supportive way. They even amended their usual procedure to take my mother by my father's residence to say goodbye. Both the transport and flight crews were exceptional. I could tell that they were mutually supportive team members with no hidden frictions to add stress to an already stressful situation. Loading and unloading, take off and landing, all were executed efficiently and elegantly. My mother has made a miraculous recovery, from being largely unresponsive to walking with help, chatting with friends on the phone, reading, playing cards, and enjoying family. It wouldn't have happened without the help of Medical Transport Services.
