I was completely disappointed and sadden in how Erin treated my situation. After giving her a full synopsis of my situation, she said she would call me back at a certain time and would text me her email address. I never received anything from her. When I called her back, the phone picked up but no one was there except a tv in the background. And despite calling multiple times I never received a call back or answer. I would not recommend anyone that cannot even keep their word to a potential client. Completely unprofessional and unresponsive.

Bad communication. I went in front of the judge today and Erin did not show even though I paid her in full for my case. I had to file a motion to get my case dismissed, Erin called me the day before court hearing. I was so disappointed that she waited until the day before even after I called , sent texts and emails to her. She showed she didn’t care about my case and my rights and the fact I had to file a motion to get our agreement dismissed MYSELF shows that she isn’t a fit lawyer. I will not recommend.

My Reply to her response: She did come to a settlement to have the case DISMISSED if I paid a certain amount which I did. They never DISMISSED the case. I reached out to her to have them DISMISS THE CASE SINCE I COMPLETED ALL PAYMENTS WHICH THE CONTRACT THAT SHE LITERALLY WROTE HERSELF STATES IT WILL BE DISMISSED. I had to file the motion myself to have it dismissed because she wasn’t replying. She never got it dismissed like our contract states to. She literally called the day before court hearing when I told her they never DISMISSED anything like the contract states that SHE WROTE UP. New action but same case , don’t know what I’m retaining but again no communication to even retain her. Again, I will never book her.

I hired Erin J Krinsky back in February of 2024. I will first start off by saying I am very unsatisfied with her work, and Erin’s responsiveness with dealing with my case. I basically paid a retaining fee to hire Erin for her to not actually handle anything pertaining to my case at all. What a loss.
0/0. I do not recommend hiring for legal service.

When I had first spoken to Erin over the phone she sounded well knowledgeable about my case and She assured me she could “help” and Be able to mediate thing between my Landlord and I. A full blown scam. She has done no work. All in all, Every time I needed an update about my case I would have to call her and ask questions. She never reached out to me to update me on anything that was going on detailing with my case. In short words after I paid the $550 retaining fee I never really heard much & It felt like she was just like “ok, job here is done”.

Also- Erin claimed to be able to mediate my case to come to an resolution without going to court. My property ended up serving me a depository warrant notice ANYWAY. And guess what ? Erin did not notify me of this neither. So much of having a lawyer right ? I ended up having to file my own separate answer and documents needed in court on my OWN BEHLAF. Horrible. Unbelievable.

So, I understand there can be bad lawyers like there can be bad doctors, but I wouldn't have believed it until now. I went to Erin Krinsky under the referral of Michael Cohen (whom I contacted originally for legal assistance). My case was very straightforward, but if any time she felt that she couldn't help me, she should have informed me. She was extremely responsive until she got my money. Once she got my money, she was increasingly more difficult to reach. I had to seek her out for updates and there were a few times where I had to contact Michael Cohen, the lawyer who referred me to her, to find her. She always had excuses. When we finally had our court date, she showed up disheveled and very unprofessional appearing. The opposing council asked for a continuance and she obliged, we had not discussed it at all. She stated if he asked again, she would say no. For our 2nd court date, I was on my way, and I text her to confirm the location. While en route, she said I didn't have to show up. I believed her because....why wouldn't I? Weeks later, still no reaponse from her. So I took it upon myself to go searching on the Magistrate website. It said that I was a "no show" and the case was closed. When I called the court to clarify, they said, "Why would your lawyer tell you that? That was horrible advice." When I finally got ahold of Erin, she said that is not what the judge told her and that she was waiting to hear back. The court's server was hacked I believe, shortly after that. She responded 2 times over several months and multiple requests for updates. I most recently went online about 1 month ago....Servers were back up, case is still closed and to this day I have not heard back from her despite several attempts. Outside of maybe an occasional disgruntled food service worker, I have NEVER seen this level of unprofessionalism, and it is nauseating to me that people like this are allowed to practice law. Thank God, my freedom wasn't in her hands.

When I first contacted Erin, I really thought she would be a great advocate for me and my situation.
Erin was supposed to file my civil case and promised she would have it filed on a specific date.
Unfortunately, I discovered two weeks later that she never filed my case when I checked the Magistrate court docket. When I contacted her about it, she used the excuse that she was on a long trip and unable to scan the documents. However, she would be happy to complete the filing when she returned from her trip.
At that point, it had been over a month since I hired and paid her to complete a specific job that she took lightly.

I terminated her services in writing immediately due to lack of service and poor communication.
I filed a dispute with my cc company and won since she had lied about the situation.
Then I discovered she filed my case WITHOUT my permission... AFTER I terminated her services.

She contacted me yesterday to advise me that a trial date had been set for Sept 30!!
Talk about a mess! She is supposed to have my case dismissed without prejudice but I have yet to receive confirmation from her that this has been done.
