Well long story short : I left my vehicle with them and when I camed to pick it up the next day it was scuffed near the rear wheel arch. Absolutely shocking experience given the fact that this is the main dealership not a KwikFit or a tiny neighbourhood garage.
It should have the highest standard level in terms of professionalism but apparently that is not the case…
I asked to see the cameras that record the state of your vehicle as you drive in to demonstrate that it did't have those when I brought the vehicle and was told that I have to wait for a week.
The person that handed my keys took notes about that, wrote it on the invoice and assured me that it would investigate. It's been 3 weeks and still no answer from them.
At this point I don’t have the energy nor the time to chase them about it everyday so this time I’ll take it on the chin and do a polish and a small paint correction out of my pocket that’s not gonna be the end of the world but at the end of the day as I was stating earlier these type of things shouldn't happen when we talk about a “prestige” main dealership.
Really disappointing to say the least…

I had a really poor experience with the Chester branch in August 2024. A health check diagnosed a faulty gasket, and following its replacement my car suffered multiple engine failures for which i had to continually return the vehicle. They say agents call back in 15 minutes, but during multiple calls I really struggled to get anyone to call me back to help me out, compounding my dissatisfaction. I paid for the investigation, I paid for repair work to be done badly, then they made me pay for the rectification work. I lodged a formal complaint requesting a refund and this has been ignored up to now.
They really should do better than this for the price.

Excellent service started at the booking stage when all the right questions were asked by the service manager to understand what I needed for my bike. Recall issues were discussed and all items and schedule of this major service for my 2018 GSA. The cost breakdown was clear and a quote was provided which gives the customer the option to go ahead or not. No obligation. I paid the reasonable quoted price with no surprises.
My bike wasn’t quite ready so we were offered the comfortable lounge area with hot drinks, quality biscuits, tv and free WiFi. A nice touch. My bike service log was signed and returned before I set off home. Job done.

Booked in for EGR first time March appointment got cancelled as no parts in stock 1 days holiday wasted, Now July received message on i drive booked again dropped car off half 9 was contacted at 1 cars ready also received a gift containing oil, screenwash wax detailing kit second time round was faultless vehicle health check came back all positive too
Had to change few settting in idrive back to how i had them favorite buttons, tpms units, unlock all doors etc must of reset car

After being directed to the parts department, in a different building location 400m away, I was at first left waiting at the counter. When the attendant came, he explained he didn't know how to use the system to find my part.
It was eventually resolved (I must now wait 1 month for the part i had to pay for), but unfortunately the service was poor.

First visit since we lost the Cheshire oaks dealership, remains a quality approach from the motorcycle service team. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, it was great to see familiar faces. Feels a little like living with big brother but I can see the motorcycle team turning it around. GS feeling great after service. Recommended.
