We typically go to the FarmVille office and have a wonderful experience there. Today we went to the Greenville office for a sick visit with my 2 yr old and my 4 yr old. I also had my 5 month old in tow. We saw Allison and she was wonderful! My 4 yr old was very sick and she was so patient, kind, accommodating and very thorough! She even sat with the little two and played Cocomelon for them while we did diagnostics on big brother. I am very pleased with our visit and would happily see her again with any one of my boys!

Ms Monica and the lady at the front desk were amazing (and the doctor). My son had an ear infection and was seen pretty quick. Afterwards my son who is non verbal autistic started getting very restless and frustrated to the point of being inconsolable. I very kindly told them that I needed to leave, but needed a doctors note as I had to leave work early, and a summary of what we went over in the office, however a summary is not typically given as what I was told, but instead of just leaving it at that not only did Miss Monica I’m assuming the nurse help watch my son, so I could get the paperwork filled out as it was just me there and he was fighting me. The lady at the front desk was also going above and beyond getting me the doctors note and summary, and they both work together to help me and after a long day of work and as someone who works with kids every day, that meant a lot to me and I have never been treated that well in any medical establishment I have ever been to in my life and that is no exaggeration. Many other places, the front desk staff are rude or even dismissive. The doctors don’t seem to care that much or have their own ideas and don’t seem to actively listen and the nurse staff are usually huddled around just talking to each other and giggling and laughing on their phones however, with Greenville pediatric, they made sure that we were taken care of and I know it’s not realistic to ask people for this kind of treatment every day, but it was the most exceptional service I have ever received and no this ad is not fake or made by any employee this was a genuine experience I had that blew me away to any parents looking for a good place to take your child. This is the place to go not ECU.

I just wanted to provide my experience for the last couple of months, which has been not the best. I’m not sure if the pandemic has taken a toll on the quality of services as it has definitely gone downhill, but the service is unacceptable.

On multiple occasions, Greenville Pediatrics Services has rescheduled my well child visits citing a growing number of sick children. This is understandable but you can’t call someone the day before or the day of when the appointment has been scheduled months in advance. In addition, when they call and they are requesting you to reschedule, they want to schedule the appointments months out which throws the child off of their immunization schedule.

However, the most concerning thing is that today, I had a horrible experience with the doctor that provided her services today. The doctor was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever experienced in my life. He was so rough with my child and even put pressure on her head when trying to check her ears. When he first came into the room, he didn’t even introduce himself. He was not thorough in his evaluation and continued to talk over me when I was trying to explain things or ask him about certain conditions with my child. I literally had to continue to talk over him and it still took him a while to realize that I was not going to stop talking and that he needed to listen my concerns. However, then, he still didn’t address them. He has never provided care to my child so he’s not familiar with her but was insistent on telling me about the condition of my child. Not to mention, my child had a little runny nose and congestion, which most kids have at this time of year. The doctor tried to force me to allow him to give her a COVID test, despite me telling him no, she’s too young. The doctor then became upset and I overheard him talking with the nurses in the hallway about our situation. Upon leaving, the nurse came in and said you can go and no one even acknowledged us on the way out the door.

I said all of this to say that my child will never go back to Greenville Pediatric Services. You are more than welcome to take your child there but you can’t say no one warned you. I’m sure there are more suitable options for Pediatric services. Please utilize them and save yourself the headache. Your children deserve better.

Interesting experience I wanted to share as an outsider. We chose not to use this practice for a few reasons that caused red flags for us. We moved from out of country/out of state has some of the best insurance available so that’s not the issue. Very high demands for paperwork to get an appointment. Despite doing everything they ask I can’t control what another office sends or doesn’t send when you request medical records. Multiple conversations needed for approval from the office manager. Interestingly they don’t take Medicaid past 6 months old so what about kids with disabilities? I thought that was super odd. Even though we don’t use that. Essentially what I have deduced is that is a private practice that Is very selective on the type of patients they want to see. That being said I opted not to take my kids there because If your only picking or selecting a certain type of person or profile that raises flags for me that they may not be able to take care of CErtain things cause they don’t see it. Felt very high maintenance and narrowly focused which raises flags to me if your kid fits into that box great. Mine don’t. Again has nothing to do with money or affordability to much work to jumping hoola hoops to do basics things. I don’t think I’d have the energy to deal with them if something really concerning happened and I needed them for something serious

We have been going here as our sick visit office (and this is the office that both our kiddos went to for newborn check-up post hospital discharges over weekend) for over 11 years now. I've never had anything negative to say about this office until Friday, October 7, 2022.

To schedule an afternoon appointment after school hours was a headache and hassle and Gville Peds could only schedule from the morning onward to fill their slots Our appointment was at 3:15p.m. Which meant I had to check my daughter out of school at 2:30p.m. per school rules (no check out after this time). We got to Gville Peds 15 mins early and checked in. We sat in the car until 3:30p.m. Got in and got her weighed. Sat in office until almost 4:15p.m. when I got up to ask 3 women in cubicle how much longer for dr. THAT WAS OVER AN HOUR WASTED OF MY TIME, MY SICK CHILD'S TIME and she could have stayed in school for the remainder of instructional time.

The dr found nothing physically wrong enough to run any tests- as we were on the tail end of sickness- but she was still sick and struggling. He sent a prescription to Walgreens.

Per text message the prescription was accepted/uploaded to Walgreens at 6:15p.m. Winterville Walgreens closes at 5p.m. No prescription for Friday. 1st thing Saturday go to get prescription at Walgreens. Gville Peds has coded my daughter with a unisex name as the WRONG GENDER. Easy fix right? No. Walgreens will not and "cannot" fill it per insurance billing, rules, etc. Fine. We ask can we pay for medicine over counter. THEY SAY NO!!! It is a controlled substance and needed NEW PRESCRIPTION SENT TO THEM from Gville Peds.

At this point, it is back and forth with who needs to call who to have this filled. It is Saturday after sick office hours. The prescription was never filled. No one ever called back from Triage. It is Monday, 10/10/22 at 9:07a.m. We still have no prescription and are in same situation from Friday. 3 days ago. My poor child. This is America.

If you’re looking for a pediatrician Greenville Pediatrics isn’t the place to go. They are rude, and discriminatory. My partner and I were trying to get care established for our 5 year old whom was abandoned by her mother. We were asked to send in bc and immunization records and we did such and continued to get the run around. My partner was told they never experienced a case were there was no mother active and there was no court docs. For one not everyone goes to court for their child and two it may not be normal for an African American father to have his child but that is the case for us and that is what it is. After telling them multiple times we don’t have her contact info, they called a final time saying they had all her paperwork however they wanted to know if they could have her mothers name and contact info. If you told me you have her birth certificate then you have her mothers name, and her father and I already advised that we do not have her contact info we don’t even know where the lady lives. It’t quite upsetting and belittling at this point. Attorneys have been contacted and at this point we will be going forward with suing for discrimination.

Doctors and staff have previously been great but after waiting over a month for a PA to sign, not even start just sign, a referral for my son, then being explained that it's not ridiculous and they see 156 patients there a day. Basically told me my child is not important. I really tried to go through appropriate channels and be patient. I really hope she was having an awful and does not treat others so poorly.

So my family and I were profilied at Greenville Pediatrics. By the head administrator Katherine Beavers. My family and I brought all 3 of our children to the doctors for our scheduled appointments but were a little early and I needed to spit up and we pulled to the back of the parking lot and were there 5 mins and Katherine came up to the car without a mask to tell my husband that there couldn't be any "drug transactions." Katherine never asked what we were doing or anything just assumed we were attempting to do a "transaction" even though we had all 3 children in the backseat at a pediatrician's office. Then acted as if we were wrong for being offended. I have used the pediatrician since Noie was a baby and Drew recommended it cause they used it when Jay was a baby he's 14 now. I have no problem with her "doing her job" but there is a way to do it!! Not assuming we are doing a drug transaction and asking questions would have been the best way to do her job!!! They say there is NO one over her, so idk if this is where my family should continue to get its care from. I'm posting this everywhere because this was wrong and completely unwarranted. Katherine also, made a very sarcastic Facebook post about the incident trying to imply she had been done wrong. Also, she posted a 5 star review on here knowing she is the administrator. I have not really had any issue with the rest of the staff and did enjoy my visit with Leshareo Willabee she was great. I am very sad and disappointed that this happened to my family since we actually liked being patients there.
