My wife and I engaged Dr. Hobday as a marriage counselor after a rough patch in our marriage following the pandemic. She informed both of us beforehand that she was not trained as a couple's counselor, but frequently took on couples to counsel. This preface was absolutely not sufficient warning to the absolute lack of professionalism, consideration, and downright disrespect that my wife and I endured during sessions with her. I don't wanna spend time on this, so I'll just mention her interrupting patients and how that contributed to the end of our sessions. On numerous occasions Dr. Hobday interrupted me while I was sharing in session. I would ask her to stop interrupting me, and point out that I should be allowed to share what I was going through. At our last session I told Dr. Hobday that if she continued to interrupt me that I would no longer be able to attend sessions. She spent a couple of minutes trying to defend her interruptions before going silent- assumedly because she realized she was in the wrong. Both my wife and I have messaged her since that visit to schedule a follow up session and she has not responded. Overall a waste of time, money, and effort.

I have seen Dr. Hobday off and on for approximately 4 years and she is the most professional, insightful, caring, and competent therapist I have ever consulted. Her no-nonsense demeanor may not appeal to those who are only seeking easy answers to their problems, but if you are looking for someone who is highly ethical and has genuine concern for her patients' long-term well-being, you could not find a better person than her. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate in knowing her and my outlook on life is much improved over 4 years ago.

Fraud. Fraud. Fraud. Paid $9,000 for a 3 day evaluation as per my lawyer. Found out later my lawyer and this provider had a deal and were dating. Very unprofessional. This is the definition of a kickback. Also, took over 3 months to receive said evaluation. Seems very fishy that they do not accept any insurance.
