I am disappointed with the experience I had with the Atlanta Legal Aid-Veterans Project. I contacted them seeking assistance with a consumer dispute involving a car warranty issue. I believed, based on their advertised services, that they would provide legal aid to veterans who couldn't afford an attorney.

However, after reaching out, I was informed that they couldn't assist me with my specific issue and suggested I contact the bar association. This seems counterintuitive, as I wouldn't have sought assistance from a legal aid organization if I had the means to hire a private attorney.

It appears that the organization may be receiving government funding without providing substantial legal aid to veterans. Their approach of simply directing clients to other resources, rather than offering direct assistance, is deeply frustrating. I urge the organization to re-evaluate its practices and ensure that it is fulfilling its mission of providing legal aid to veterans in need.

why is it so hard to speak to someone? I called 2 different numbers and when I finally got a live person, they directed me to call the same number I couldn't get anywhere with. The automated system will literally have you going in circles 🙄 you press a button for the prompt that you think is going to get you somewhere but you just hear the same automated message repeated.

This place is really the best it helps seniors that are 60 and plus I took my uncle there and they did his Will. They did his power attorney. They were so nice to him and anytime I needed to contact them via email or via phone. They were always always there and they gave great advice and they help me all with nursing home problems and all types of stuff. They are really great now the people at the front desk kind of change in and change out so it was kind of hard to get through to the people the front desk but once you get past them and you can get to the journeys, they’re really nice people and it’s free parking.

Ridiculous. Haven't reached anybody in 3 months now at this number. If it's this hard to het help then now i see why people are homeless and out on the streets. Why are these places playing games when major help is needed? Who else can i contact

Yup , the receptionist should have BEEN FIRED. Along with her boyfriend she works with. They are horrible. Ms. Kaneir was great. We won our case. I haven't received my money yet. However, like the other comments, the receptionist is a bad look for your establishment.

Andrea Coleman (lawyer) has a very condescending attitude towards you so please have some sort of legal knowledge so you're not mishandled. She is very rude, easily frustrated, and was really no guiding light in my case. I'll rather save money for a lawyer and be treated with better care than deal with Ms.
Coleman again.

Crazy to tell someone who makes absolutely no money they can’t get help. I’m stuck renting from a slumlord and it won’t seem to matter until I’m dead. America is a scam and things created to help middle and low class people are just things that help the wicked corporations stay profiting. So dissatisfied
