They dropped my medicaid with no notice....been trying to get it back to get my medicine in need.... Been on hold for 2 days to talk to someone....nobody answers the phone/peak is of no use. I guess ill get my sleeping bag and camp out in the lobby. All they have to do is ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Today its been 1hour and 3min on hold praying someone answers the phone. What a cht show

The medical ride service is a joke. One time my ride was so late, I missed my appointment.

Their scheduling app has been broken for weeks, and the wait time to chat or call has been up to three hours. When I finally did get through to someone, they told me they would not schedule my ride because it wasn't more than two business days before the appointment. But I had been trying to schedule for 4 days. The person on the chat told me I should apply for a job working with them if I want faster service and then refused to help me.

A few weeks later, one of the drivers gave me COVID.

My provider started paying for my Lyft's so that I wouldn't have to endure it anymore.

I brought my mother home from a skilled nursing facility February 20th and applied for in-home help. My mother is bedridden, declining and I am 69 years old. Health First took over this function for Medicaid and I was finally assigned a case worker by the end of March. She contacted an agency who, when we met, told me the rules for Medicaid. This agency would not dress, bathe or use the Hoyer lift to move my mother. I called case worker back and she promised to try another. No one ever made contact and case worker never followed through. When I called her, she said, "Can't hospice do more for you?" I was furious. Bristol Hospice was doing everything they could and I will be eternally grateful for their help and support. They offer a 5 night respite every 60 days. I wanted more help caring for my mother for 12 hours/week, which is what I was promised by the case worker. I finally called April 19 to tell her my mother had passed away and I no longer needed the service she never provided. She never even said she was sorry for my loss. I was not angry or bitter, just honest. She did nothing for us. She said that this call must have been hard for me. What? I retired from a government career and I expected better. We deserve better.

I received a letter saying my coverage became active in February, about a week later I get a letter saying my benefits were ending because I told them I wanted to cancel my coverage. I NEVER CALLED OR TOLD ANYONE TO END MY BENEFITS. I am pregnant and was desperately trying to get in with a doctor when I first applied for HFC Medicaid! When I called at the beginning of March the agent at HFC transferred me to the local department of human services to talk about reinstating my insurance. I was told she'd send it up, and I'd have my insurance active again "within 2 weeks". It has now been over a month!!! My human services office has no info on why it's taking so long, and for the past few weeks when I try to call HFC Medicaid office I can't reach anyone due to "high call volumes"!! I don't know where to go at this point, and my medical bills are going to begin to stack up. I never cancelled my benefits, so this mixup is ridiculous.

I have been trying to contact someone since July to make some changes to my account. The app and website will not allow me to edit my info or delete what I need to. I have only talked to one person in over 6 months due to the wait times being too long. And I was only able to talk to that person after Medicaid had dropped me. And now I can’t get a hold of anyone to try to fix this and get reactivated.

I don't know who to complain to but dang.....I have a question on my information to renew just a question. Yesterday I was on hold with one phone number I received through the chat bot for 2 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES. I tried the live chat with no luck they gave me 2 other phone numbers to call. I tried one that had my wait time at UNDER 2 AND A HALF HOURS. The time just jumped around I had no idea how long I was going to be on the phone. It went from saying under 2 and a half hours to under 1 and a half hours....to 5 minutes then jumped to an hour and a half then 2 and a half then to 3 hours. I stayed on this phone for 2 hours. Then I tried that third number. I only stayed on hold for 30 minutes.

5 hours on hold.......I got absolutely no where. I can't handle the piano music any longer. I'm currently on hold again. The wait started at my call should be answered in about 20 minutes....I've been on hold for an hour. My current wait time is "under an hour"
